This weekend sees the Warringah Rugby Club (WRC) go up against the West Harbour Pirates, the game will be played on Sunday the 19th April at 2pm. This game will follow one of the biggest events the Northern Beaches has held in years.

This Anzac Parade has been planned since 2012 and has been put together by a Subbranch that stretches from Palm Beach to Mosman and is in conjunction with the WRC, Pittwater, Warringah & Manly Council. It will see over 8,000 people march in remembrance to honour the Australians that fought in Gallopi 100 years ago. The Parade will start from Boondah Reserve and will see Pittwater Road closed from 10:45 to 12pm, the march will arrive at Pittwater Rugby Park at 12:00pm. The Parade will be held on the Main Field from 12pm to 1pm and will be led by the Australian Prime Minister, the NSW Premier, Governor General and the Speaker of house. With the Parade concluding at 1pm, all eyes will be on the taking off of the helicopter parked on the main field, the live music, farmers markets and kids amusements.

At 2pm the WRC 1st Grade side will take to the field in what’s to be a huge clash against the Wests Pirates.
